  2. Rotating shaft protection
  3. Fail-safe or key-code device
  4. Fall restricting valve on hydraulic lifting control
  5. Two-handed lifting and lowering

These six standard safety features are required for CE certification and allow for secure work.

They are approved by certified organisations.

About Vortex

Established in 1996, VORTEX designs and manufactures mixing devices and installations for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, chemical, aeronautic and paint industries.

Commercial and technical flow chart

  1. Consultation with a technical sales representative.
  2. Study of requirements; specifications are defined in collaboration with the customer.
  3. Trial in our laboratories prior to request validation, which enables us to ensure that your project is technically feasible. At this point, we are able to commit to a result.

Equipment available in our laboratories:
  • 1 stirrer (power: 600 W, rotation speed: 0-3000 RPM)
  • 1 support with 50 litre reactor, vacuum and pressure, two-layered hot/cold shell
  • 1 contra-rotating entangling mixing device, 3 litres.
  • Available turbines (rotor/stator, dispersions, four-blade, three-blade, anchor blade, entangling)
  1. Cost estimate is issued on the basis of your specifications and our trials.
  2. 3D plans are designed (in AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor) and submitted by our sales representative prior to validation of technical elements
  3. Commercial parts are purchased (with proof of purchase if required)
  4. Mechanical construction, sheet metal working and electrical assembly begin.
  5. Handover and trial by customer on our premises prior to shipment. This step enables us to validate the finalised work.
  6. Delivery and commissioning by a technician and a technical sales representative.
  7. Staff training made by a certified trainer (invoice issued with approval number)

Our premises

Our offices and production site are located to the east of Lyon. These premises handle services, administration and production tasks. Our services work in close collaboration, ensuring optimum circulation of our staff’s competence and expertise.

France is divided into three sectors:

The design department

Vortex - Agitateurs et Mélangeurs - Le bureau d'études

In close collaboration with our technical sales representatives, our design department develops and designs mixing devices according to your specifications and requirements. Studies are carried out using the 3D software Inventor, which facilitates the comprehension and presentation of our various technical documents.
